The Lord Liketh My Bike

And the Lord cast down a wondrous light, which fell upon TromboneAl's Bottecchia, which did lean against the school bus stop sign, and also upon the road, which was very steep. And He said that it was a good and true bike, even though it hath toe clips and not clipless pedals.

For DG's sake, that does appear to be a white bike. Hmmm.

fyi, you can read that data out of the photo file itself if you download it to a photo editor. I see: Canon A560, no flash, auto mode, 1/400 shutter speed.

I shot it with a simple point and click Canon Powershot A560, which I simply pointed and clicked in Auto mode. I actually took about 5 shots, and this one was a bit better than the others. I cropped it a bit and resized it (using SmartSize), and ran a "Photo Fix" macro on it in Paint Shop Pro 8 (does some color balancing, smoothing, etc).

The sun coming through trees and fog is very common here, since we often have patchy fog and always have trees. Only 20 minutes after I took that shot, I had climbed out of the fog and into brilliant sunshine:

Thanks. I just added this extension to Firefox 3.x and now I see the data in the image properties.
