1992 Schwinn Duo Sport tandem
For sale - 1992 Schwinn Duo Sport tandem. Designed by the Paramount Group and manufactured in Japan. Lugged Chrome-Moly frame set, 18spd with bar end fingertip shifting. New tires and recently serviced. With the exception of the stoker's saddle, the tandem is all original. Price is $575.00.
All proceeds benefit Bob's Free Bikes located in Fountain Hills AZ. BFB are a 501c3 non-profit that reconditions donated bikes and gives them to children in need. Their clients include the surrounding school districts, CASA, AZ National Guard, Luke Air Force Base, The Boys and Girls Club and several other community organizations. Last year they gave away 1085 bikes and this year ther are on target to give away 1200 bikes. All the bikes are donated and all the labor, including management and board of directors, is volunteer
Some bikes that are not suitable for children, such as the Schwinn Duo Sport, are sold. The proceeds from bike sales are used to buy parts, pay the rent and keep the lights on. We also receive donations from individuals, civic groups and local businesses.
The asking price is $575.00, sold as is with no warranties implied. We accept cash, Zelle or a check with proper ID only. All sales are final.
