Carbon wheel = tubeless capable?
Has anyone taken an unknown brand hooked carbon wheel that didn't have markings for being tubeless ready & make it tubeless ready?
I'm thinking that if tubeless tape is used, it would be capable but I'm not sure what makes a carbon wheel different in that aspect.
I could buy the rim tape, sealant, TLR Tire, & try it, but would like to not overlook something that others would know.
It's double walled, but I haven't seen any not double walled.

It is my understanding that tubeless tires run at lower pressures, so that might help. But not my area, so good luck.

2. With so open mold wheelsets available, there is no basis to assume that the construction of the two wheelsets are same or equivalent.

Heck, just get out your drill and a tiny bit and make your own weep hole (sounds so wrong). 💀

Does the prospect rim have a shelf between the bead seats? If so, then the answer is a 100% maybe. The shelf is necessary so the bead has something to come up and rest upon. Else the risk of a burp and related complete and unscheduled demount from the rim is much more likely.

No. base2 is referring to the shoulders on both sides of the rim bed. See, e.g.:

Better check that you have that better reputable build set up correctly then.

I'm looking for responses that will give key indicators that determine what makes a carbon rim being tubeless compatible.
