Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

lecterman, that's the frame my DH built as a single speed!

You can't see Spartacus' lugs from here, but he's got 'em:

He's also got a different fork, new bar tape, downtube shifting, new wheels, a new saddle...

My Davidson. 1981 custom built for me. Columbus SL tubing.

Italo Zilioli, also 1981, also Columbus SL, with stickers. Note the Campy SR pantograph.

Since I crashed my CF Kuota, I ride the Davidson again. The Zilioli I haven't been on in over a year, but would just need a few little tweaks to get on it again, and swap the wheels.

My Pinarello. Hard to see those lugs in this washed out pic, they are there though.

The white Banesto, wow that's a beautiful bike! The color scheme is just great and the lugs are crafty.

Here's a picture as of this afternoon, low end lugged steel.

+1 on that. I've been trying to find this picture for a while but couldn't remember the builder name.

Here's Moon's webpage: https://www.cwo.com/~lunarlab/index.htm

Anyone know if his bikes are any good (i.e., more than just a pretty face)?
