24" Trek 613

$240 in Portland, or $240 plus shipping elsewhere.

Caveats: headbadge (not pictured) is in rough shape. I took it off to try to clean it up, but I probably won't. I'll reattach it.

Handlebar sleeve is yikes on one side.

Some frame rust in common wear spots from brake and shifter housing (top tube and downtube). Chestnut brown sure hides it well though!

imho trek really nailed the sport touring geometry on these bikes. I have a 613 a few years later than this one in the classic pewter gray and it's my daily rider. I have reports about issues with fork crown, I check mine from time to time and haven't had issues and I don't exactly babe the bike.

t came stock with 27" wheels that I swapped for 700c's. I can easily fit 33.33 Jack Brown Greens, it's a sublime ride that doesn't need to be babysat but responsive enough to avoid the local pot holes. Love the chestnut brown.

That color would really pop and the bike would look super classy with some new gumwall tires. With a full overhaul and a few other changes, and this is a $400 bike, easy.

I have two 610s, both Chestnut. The other one has immaculate paint, so it got the nice tires while this one is a bit more "budget" due to the rust spots.

I'll have to take a look at some gumwalls. Overhaul wise, this has a new chain, housings and cables (save one, I think, front derailleur cable might not be new). But I could swap the bars for some not scratched ones. I do have some Honjos that could be added though.
