These are fantastic bulletproof SS, my son's first good bike, sadly stolen after he rode the crap out of it for a couple of years.
This is a pretty good deal, I usually see them at $500+ but they are heavy, this one is the best colorway like the one we had.

Peter Mooney 55cm $850 in Walnut Creek, CA
https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/bik...672722269.html
Seller says:
"Peter Mooney Road Bike – American Lugged Steel
$850 OBO
Touring frameset, with long wheelbase, and plenty of room for fat tires and fenders. Fender and rack eyelets. Extra bottle mount. Bruce Gordon rack.
Paint is original, in good condition with some minor chips. Signs of some paint touch-up on forks. There is a slight crease on the top tube (see photo) near the seat tube.
This frameset is by highly-respected Boston-area builder Peter Mooney. Born in London, Mooney began building frames in the mid-1970s. Following the European model of an “in-house” framebuilder, he worked out of his Wheelworks Bicycle Shop in the Boston area for over 45 years.
Frame:
Seat tube: 55cc (or 22”ct)
Top Tube: 57cc
Rear Spacing: approx. 124?
(Probably) Reynolds 531 tubing
Campagnolo Drop-outs
Mix of Components:
Campagnolo Mirage Triple Crankset (50/40/28)
Campagnolo Veloce Front Derailleur
Campagnolo Rally long-arm rear derailleur
Suntour Downtube Shifters
Suntour Winner Pro 6-Speed Freewheel 13-30
Dura Ace Brakes
Modolo Professional brake levers
Mavic Open 4 CD rims (28 spokes) built on Shimano Dura Ace hubs
Continental Gaterskin tires 32 mm (in good condition. Some wear left.)
Nitto stem and bars
Shimano 105 headset
Campagnolo 27.2 Seatpost
Brooks Professional saddle (well broken-in)
32mm tires with plenty of room for larger tires or fenders.
$850 OBO
(I am selling this bike at a “clearance” price for a friend who is no longer able to enjoy the many classic bikes in his collection. This bike was ridden infrequently, for short distances, and was always stored indoors.)
Bike is available for viewing in Walnut Creek at the BART station or Sports Basement on Ygnacio Valley. Please leave a name and phone/text number with questions. I do not respond to online offers."

Listed for 20 days - Maybe because it is listed under exercise? Maybe because it is rough and has odd parts? Or maybe no one will buy from DREW!
