My bum from the pressure points of my ischial tuberosities when I ride over 40 miles. Also have pain under my left scapula due to an “adhesion” which cycling doesn’t help.
And to top it all off, I have a painful neuroma in my left foot from using too long of a screw to attach a cleat which poked the bottom of my foot but couldn’t feel at the time due to previous injury related neuropathy. Why too long a screw? Because the ones provided were just a thread too short from biting, so went one size up. Never felt the thing poking me until the neuroma because painful. Now am researching non-surgical and surgical remedies for my damned foot and a 1 cent screw. Ain’t life grand?

Never, EVER, ask anoyone over 50 years old "How are you feeling/doing?" or "What do you think is wrong with society these days?". Unless you have some spare time on your hands.

That would leave off about 3/4s of the BF regulars. Come to think of it….

The most painful problem I choose to focus on instead of focusing on real problems is when my morning ride ends and I have to get ready for my day.

I figured I would answer honestly since all my smarmy responses have already been posted by others. Seriously though, why are you interested in this?

My recurrent pain is frequent headache. This was caused by parachuting injury. One of the reasons I cycle is that for whatever reason the more I ride the less pain I have.

Last time I saw my doctor the words 'complete shoulder replacement' were uttered. So I've got that to look forward to.

A stop sign at the bottom of a long fast descent. That really give me pain.
Riding into and fighting a head-wind for miles only looking for relief on the return trip and turning around and the wind has changed direction and I am fighting it back too,
Hearing that rain won’t start for 2 hours and heading out for a quick ride and it starts to rain and I don’t have rain kit.
Struggling up a 12% grade and having some slub barely pedaling pass me on an e-bike. No justice.
Being passed unnecessarily close by a car with zero cars coming from the opposite direction and they could easily cross the line to give room.
Being left in the dust by some 30 something on a bike when I used to be the one leaving people in the dust. So much acceptance of not being able to do the things we used to when younger.

None. I can't think of any physical or mental problems related to cycling. Riding a bicycle improves mental and physical well-being, if it did not I would find something else to do that did.

I had a *total right shoulder replacement* (not reversed) in 2016 at age 66yo by Dr. John Moor, former Team Ortho for Cincinnati Reds using a technique he perfected. Replacement was on a Monday morning then the sling came off Tuesday afternoon and permission given to ride again on Wednesday. Wanting to proceed on the side of caution I waited until Thursday to ride. I hope your Dr. can offer a similar experience.
