WTB Pretty Japanese or Italian road bike 56/57
I’m trying NOT to buy a $2,000 bike from steel-vintage.com. I love frames from smallish builders from Italy and Japan (or wherever) and I’d like a good paint job. I don’t mind a project / frame only but I don’t want to repaint. A rideable bike that I can stare at in wonder. I typically ride with 74cm from BB to saddle and 70ish cm from mid saddle to bar.
If it fits that size and it’s clean, I’d love to see it.
Edit: I have a touring bike. I’m looking for a pure road bike from the 80’s. Anything from a Team Miyata to a Zunow High end Panasonic, Fuji design series, Nishiki Maxima, Nagasawa, etc.

Sounds like you're in the market for a 3rensho! you might want to contact andrew muzi at the Yellow Jersey bike shop to see if he has any 'laying' around for sale: Yellow Jersey, Ltd., Arlington WI USA Everything Cycling Since 1 April, 1971! (he was the North American importer of 3rensho back in the day).

Where are you located? Usually, if you watch the active thread here called something like, "Are you looking for one of these Craigslist/Ebay?" something interesting inevitably pops up in various metro areas.

With limited storage space, I cannot keep all of my bikes (four is my storage limit). I recently finished restoring this late sixties Italian Torpado and took it out for its after restoration test and tune road ride. PM me if interested...
This was just done and before riding weather showed up where I live. Note, the tires are now the new gumwalls shown in the first two pictures. Cool old bike in my opinion...
But not as cool as this one which I restored last summer. Sadly, for me, one of them has to go...

Where are you located? I'd prefer not to ship, but am selling a 58 st / 57 tt 3Rensho Aero model that has some custom features like fender mounts.
