Old Bianchi
NOS 1985 Bianchi Centenario
I remember seeing this same bike back in 1990 when I bought my Celeste Bianchi Sport SX, and they still have it in the showroom.
Any idea what a "brand new" 85 Centenario is worth?

In the middle of that picture is a "Superleggera" SLX with aero components and pantographed Campy parts. I owned one of those (59cm.) in the middle eighties. I sold the frameset to a friend who still rides it. I still have the panto stem, brakes, and seatpost. It was an interesting frame. The seatstays and fork were shaped to create an aero look. And the fork had a crown like a Cinelli, but engraved with "Bianchi". Oh well.

Wow, where is this bike shop? *heaven*
They're so rare that prices vary, but NOS I would think $3500+. Been looking for a complete 52-54 for years!

The OP is keeping mum on the location. he says there are several different NOS bike there and is not certain the gruff old owner is ready to sell them just yet.
I agree this could bring a pretty penny or several thousand of them. and at this point even the Sport SX, next to the red bike, might actually bring more than the original price. I would love the wheels off of it for sure

I think he's ready to sell them, just not cheap. He does sell some bikes on ebay apparently (some of them have tags on them that say EBAY) There's a white sport sx with a price tag of $419 not sure of the year, it seems like everything celeste doesn't have price tags (except one pista from what i can remember) I think I'm stopping back this week to drool
He has a lot of vintage parts too, with a sign that says if you have to ask you can't afford it.
Other NOS bikes there: Basso, Fuji, Miyata, Raleigh maybe others

So I stopped back in the shop today to look at frames and talked to the owner's son about the Centenario, and asked the price. He said "$30,000 so basically not for sale. The only other one in this condition is at Bianchi headquarters and that one isn't for sale."

Just where is this shop? I have never seen a Centenario in person and if it is close it might be worth a drive to see these bikes.

"$30,000.00!"...."if you have to ask, you can't afford it".......I'm getting "retro grouch hoarder" signals when I read those......
$30K would buy a lot of other nicer bikes IMO, and he can keep his overpriced parts too!......

I wouldn't give the location. You may be able to strike a deal someday when the time is right and keeping quiet lessens the chances of someone shopping them out from under you.
