Only one photo....

You would think that "only one photo" ads would have a 50-50 chance of capturing the drive side, but that seems not to be the case. My thought is that most people are right-handed so they walk the bike or dismount on the left. They get to their staging area, lean it against the stage (usually a garage, nice touch using a tree in this case), snap a photo and head back to storage. Why would you ever want to see anything other than the nice pink frame and a bunch of hosta? /s

Wow another one from a celebrated (and yet little known) Santa Barbara custom builder (see Chris Pauley in previous post).
And yet again the seller misspells the builder's name (Celmins not Clemins), it's right there on the DT!

While definitely cool in a low level Bianchi sort of way , a bit odd with Pro looking paint scheme, French kit and flourishes, may be older than we think with stamped, claw RDO,s and old English right hand side light mount.

i am in a frame moratorium anyhow. Offload mode. Need some pedals for wide feet? Hee hee.

neither is your fault, the sellers aren't able to spell their bikes' names in their own ads.

My take is it's got some weird not-usual-Holdsworth details that need checking before any buyer should take at face value: the "Pro" graphics/paint with stamped DOs and lamp bracket usually means an "Equipe" model, but in this case maybe not. However there's more "French" in this one than just the drivetrain, including the placement of the 531 tubing decal. have never seen a Holdsworth with that placement. Curious and curiouser...

I had a frame (with not-original chrome fork)with exactly these graphics, and had to let it go to a C&Ver who was very pleased with it. In my example the SLX tubing decal was "optimistic": turned out to have SL tubing (and was 57cm size IIRC) so if a buyer wants SLX make sure somebody opens the BB and confirms if there's "rifling" in the butts of 3 mains.

I can find very little info on these if the ad is correct might be interesting? Lugged, Reynolds?, Canti's

that is a seldom seen brand (except for BMX) in anything "road bike", but AFAIK they made a few in Asia that were imported by the same combine that handled DiamondBack (and perhaps Centurion).
Which if so might be made with something like Tange or Ishiwata.
If it's any flavor of Reynolds it might be when they briefly licensed production of tubes in Taiwan (might have been called "525") with a model called "Tee-Ex" I wonder if this was supposed to be something that mashed up CX with Touring (?)
EDIT: no I guessed wrong Redline was NOT a WSI brand (Centurion and DB brands among some others) but was their BMX competiton from Chatsworth (SoCal) that eventually sold off to SBS (Seattle) which is where the road bikes branded "Redlines" were introduced and designed/ordered from their Asian sources.

Had one of these once upon a time...
Was stolen on a chilly night in December 2016. It was double locked to a street sign, which apparently was not anchored in the sidewalk. Was making paper with a pair of White Witches in their studio on Castle Street.
Been checking CL ever since, and though many many many other bikes have turned up and been acquired, no Redline Tee-Ex.
Only bike lost to theft. Still look for it when riding around, especially Downtown.
It was a very fine all-arounder.
A size or two too small, but still...
(Subject frame appears to be "the right size.")

(Taken after attending an Shakespeare in the Park Event.)

Corresponded with Redline (after buying and riding the bike, and obviously before it was stolen), and among the email responses was
""One of my coworkers actually remembers that bike. It was a repainted Shogun, another brand we distributed at the time. He is pretty sure it was Tange Direct drive tubeset."
Follow up phone conversations yielded the story that someone high up in Redline in 1989 wanted a CX Tourer for a specific adventure, so commissioned a small number of these, fashioned maybe from Prestige.
