As long as you haven't been digging around the base you should only have to worry about branches. The root systems are really aggressive .

We were fine in the morning, nothing much bigger than 1in dia down. I heard the neighbor behind us running an electric saw so I wonder if they got something larger out of our trees. I can see some redwood branches on their roof, but only small ones, and their skylights are ok. My wife went out and she says the Alder Creek lagoon of Lake Natoma you can see south of 50 is overflowed. Can't wait for tomorrow

Forecast for tomorrow is shrinking but still pretty epic. Peak winds in the wee hours and then peak rain after sunup. Another round in the wee hours Tuesday but not as big

tomorrow afternoon almost looks ridable, but i can't make it work with work/other logistics. i think next week may be a write-off. maybe a short ride wed/thurs.

i managed to get a good week in this week between all the storms. only got actively rained on once.

I was able to get in a 56 mile ride yesterday between storms. Lots of water running across the road everywhere, lots of debris on the road in low-lying places next to creeks. Oh, and the Ralston Trail is still closed, so it's a good thing Crystal Springs reopened.

I'm thinking about running away & going to Mexico. It doesn't rain in Mexico, does it? 🤔😁😉

Rolling thunderstorm through here with sharp rain just before 4am. I have not been outside yet. The thing at the bottom of my screen just switched from "flood" (never seen that before) to "Rain on and off," I suppose it pushed an update at 6;30

I'm usually up removing dead branches and thinning canopies this time of year. All I need is a rake...wind is howling today.

That thunderstorm actually started closer to 3:30. There was lots of lightning, and it was windy as all get out.🥺
I sincerely apologize, for saying I wanted to see a good thunderstorm here, back in the days of drought. 😉
I never noticed anything about the weather, on the bikeforums page. What browser you using? 🤔

A lull the next few days and then back to rain on Friday afternoon and all weekend. Long range forecast dries up middle of next week

It's on the Windows taskbar, not the browser

That makes sense. I've just gotten too used to using my phone, I guess. 🤭

I might not go to Mexico after all. They eat way too many peppers down there, I bet. 😉 Nothing wrong with a little Pepper Jack, though, when it's cool outside. Or a lot, if you're too skinny anyways. 😁

My complaint today - it's a beautiful day for riding, and here I am at work till it's too dark to ride.

Hey, you probably went right past my office! We're at the corner of Bayshore and Guadalupe, right across from where the car chase in "Bullitt" ended in a fiery crash (there's no gas station there now)

I feel your pain. Finally I saw a bit of filtered sun today, but was stuck in the office. And of course this weekend is another total washout. Getting all those trainer miles in this winter!
