Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Favorite gloves with no padding and synthetic palm ???

Sorry for another glove thread, but after searching for a large portion of the weekend, I'm not having much luck. I'm looking for fingerless gloves that have no padding and do not have a leather palm. Something similar to the Giro LTZ gloves, but without the "aero" length.

I'm currently using the Giro Zero gloves, but the leather palms get all sweaty/slimy after about 5 miles in the AZ heat.

I don't really care about costs, cool graphics/colors are a plus.

My shop has the POC Raceday Gloves which seem to fit the bill but I'd like to know if there are any other recommendations before dropping $50 on the POCs.

No glove, no love. Or I guess in this instance, no glove love. Perhaps, no loved gloves?

Hmm, no padding, synthetic leather palm (but still synthetic!)...have you used them at all? Any issues with slimy palms? They definitely look like they could work.

My palms do sweat a bit but not uncomfortably so. Worth a try for the price IMO. Fwiw my son borrows an extra pair I have as he thinks they're good for weight lifting as well... If you're so inclined.

I'm using Panache Team Issue Race Gloves. I used the Giro Zero, but stretch out too fast. I was using the Pearl Izumi Pro Pittard, but they finally died.
