Request for frame identification - vintage Centurion?

Hey, I found a classic road bike in a local classifieds service - the seller read the sticker, and it says "M35 CHAMPION complete frame". There's a letter C near the bottom bracket. The bike has a chrome fork, a place under the top tube for a race number, and Suntour Sprint components. Could this be a Centurion from the 80s? Is there any information about the quality of the steel used in this frame?

I will be grateful for any information!
Daniel

A chrome fork does not strike me as an ‘80’s Centurion. Early 80s may have tips and or crown of chrome on the fork. Later 80’s has no chrome
