Hi Gang,

I realize I am pushing the definition of both "classic" and "vintage" with these shifters. They aren't really classics and being about 11 years old, they aren't really vintage either. But, I know that some of our steeds look perfectly at home with gear on it like this, and the Rivendell site has the same type of equipment for sale all over their site and I would say their bikes are considered "classic" looking. Anyway, if I get heat about this post being located. here, I'll happily remove it as it is being cross posted in Marketplace (though I know most of you don't look there).

Up for grabs is a NOS set of Shimano Sora 3x9 STI shifters + brake levers (ST-3500). They are a bit rare as they accept a 9-Speed triple drivetrain.

They have been hanging out in my parts bin, waiting for the right build, for far too long. Someone should put them to good use.

I like brifters just fine even if I tend to be partial to bar end shifters when I go click shift. Lots of folks here build old bikes with 3 x 9 gearing so you've come to the right place.
