anytime something happens which doesn't fit my paradigm I will just say that the rider is still 98% of the equation. Equipment is just 1.75% (light) or 2% (aero)!

Congrats on the bike. I ride a tarmac now and love it. Fit matters most IMO. Than again, I want a steel race rig for my next purchase.

The EVO will be nice and at least you'll never know what you're missing.
According to Rinard at Cervelo, at 40k an Evo concedes 10 watts over an S5 at 40kph, for me that's roughly a 3% difference (I'm guessing that I have to push 270 watts for that). Of course, that's just for the frame. A lot of tests include the whole package, meaning the wheels and handlebars. I could care less about those since many of us swap out wheels and other pieces of equipment.

Aero isn't everything, but if it was apparently that's what we are missing.
