Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I like dress shoes.... I actually need a new pair of black ones since the ones I have are old AF and I never took care of em. I have two brown and one oxblood pair in rotation. The oxbloods are dark enough to pass as black in most cases.

I have a couple other "oxford like" shoes that are a little more robust/sturdy for work, Clark's, Rockports etc. I really like the Rockports, they don't look quite as fancy, but they are very tough and very comfortable.

I have a couple pair of gumwall Vans, the first ones I treat like dress shoes lol with a protective coating. i never wear em since I want them to stay bright and fresh. I wanna pull off a suit (no break / highwater pant) and T-shirt look with them at the right event, complete w the Tom Cruise shades:

Then these ones are more every day/kick around shoes that are all dirty and have a couple holes in 'em. The way you're supposed to! Example photo of course. Mine are way beat up

Frugal man!

I have over 30 pairs of shoes not including cycling shoes. They just seem to pair up and multiply.

Standard American family restaurant faire. I didn't have a particular favorite. I didn't know the owners.

It's one thing to go to games where you live. Another to use your holiday vacation to go to a remote frozen wasteland rather than somewhere warm.

My people were across the river from Berwick for over a century. I've only been there once, that I remember, 20+ years ago. Scenic country . . . in the summer.

There's a lot to do in SLC though, you can go see the Temple, and the Lake, and my favorite SLC attraction:
