I've got dress shoes, 3 brown and 2 black. Can't wait to retire and chuck em.

That's pretty awesome!
I had a pint of Guinness when I heard he passed.
Then followed that up with a more substantial stout, Jomax by Wren House Brewery, now that's a tasty beer:
Oatmeal Stout made with naturally dried Ethiopian coffee beans (locally roasted from Press Coffee) and blended with cold brewed coffee after fermentation. The addition of whole bean coffee brings out a cherry-like fruitiness which is balanced by the robust flavor of the cold brewed coffee.

If you grew up in my age bracket, you'd see psychedelic patterns as just nifty, tye-dye as a retro ironic fashion choice, and Twister as a kids' party game. None has anything to do with sex or drugs.
Ditto billiards - I'm terrible at it, but a friend's dad had a table in the rec room. Couldn't figure out the issue in The Music Man until much later, and really internalize it until watching Poolhall Junkies.

I like dress shoes.... I actually need a new pair of black ones since the ones I have are old AF and I never took care of em. I have two brown and one oxblood pair in rotation. The oxbloods are dark enough to pass as black in most cases.
I have a couple other "oxford like" shoes that are a little more robust/sturdy for work, Clark's, Rockports etc. I really like the Rockports, they don't look quite as fancy, but they are very tough and very comfortable.

We travel well to bowl games so as to get out of the cold. If it is going to be cold we can do that right back here

I have a couple pair of gumwall Vans, the first ones I treat like dress shoes lol with a protective coating. i never wear em since I want them to stay bright and fresh. I wanna pull off a suit (no break / highwater pant) and T-shirt look with them at the right event, complete w the Tom Cruise shades:
Then these ones are more every day/kick around shoes that are all dirty and have a couple holes in 'em. The way you're supposed to! Example photo of course. Mine are way beat up

What was on the menu? What was your favourite?
I know of a family of Arners who were in Delaware whose son is my second cousin (I think), but I never heard that they ran a restaurant.
Did you know any? Delaware seems like the kind of place where everyone knows everyone.

My people were across the river from Berwick for over a century. I've only been there once, that I remember, 20+ years ago. Scenic country . . . in the summer.
