No problem.
I've been following this thread all the way and I'm glad I did. The final result - well almost - has been worth it. Great job. Your going to really enjoy this bike now, no doubt!
You are the man! A ride like that would likely leave me crying on the side of the road in the fetal position, as I mumble, mommy, MOMmy!
I'm working on my engine in a nice warm gym that just opened up a block and a half from my warm house. Darn, I'm such a girly-man...

34 degrees here today with more snow coming in tonight.
Balmy!
There is no big secret to winter riding though.
All you have to do is wear layers and ride hard.
The rest works itself out.
Oh yeah, fat tires in the snow ftw baby!

I like Grady a lot, but those eurus wheels are staying with me! I agree they are not quite right for the build and they ride too darn well for me to sell As Grady mentioned, he has a wheelset waiting for the bike. They have a more traditional spoke patern and rims. It will really top it off. I couldn't think of a better wheelset for the build.
if it weren't for the rain and horrible sandy streets, she would have gone around the block today. If we have any decent dry weather before my next trip up I will try and get a good sake down ride in. Remember, I've got a Colnago I'm dying to try as well

Wow, that Colnago is looking great! All the components you added really fit her well, and darn, that paint job is just awesome!
I however prefer to think of Colnago's as the Ferrari of the bike world, not the Porsche!
Have you had her out for a ride yet?

Thanks, its good to see my vision finally come together.
I agree with your assesment, but I don't have a Ferrari in the garage
Snow and back pain has kept it inside to date but I ave had it on the trainer. I obviously can't tell you how it rides, but the parts all work together nicely.

That's hot.
First of all, I have a sweet tooth for a nice Colnago on occasion.
This one qualifies, for sure.
What a knockout Casey.
Can't wait for the snow to melt I bet.
As for the Tommasini, I think I scored some used Nitto cages today.
If that doesn't work out, Kings will have to suffice.

Hey Grady, how's the Tommasini?
Unless I missed it, I didn't see the final product. Is she done yet?

Sorry about Tommasini pics folks.
The last three weeks have been relegated to matters other than bicycles here on the tundra.
The only bike work I have snuck in is selling.
Two bicycles and two framesets in the last week have kept me very busy.
While I am on the Tommasini topic, pics will not tell the complete story of the incredibly detailed work Casey did on the Tommasini Super Prestige.
I have never owned any bicycle that gleams like the Tommasini.
Casey did an incredible job and I am in no hurry to take it out into our salt covered streets.
We are in the throws of an extended winter and my mtbs will have to suffice.

I was shocked at how nice the paint looked/felt after several rounds of polish and wax. Years of crud came off and left a great finish behind.
edit: the real treat was sonax high speed wax. It is a great quick detailer for bikes.

I am sending Tommasini the pics when it is finished. I am hopeful they showcase the bicycle on their Facebook page.
Btw I am buying the Sonax for a few of my other bicycles. Incredible!

Thirdgenbird, what brand bar tape is that on the colnago? I'm looking for a good perforated bar tape for a upcoming build.

EDIT: I'm not saying that I intentionally knew what was happening as I got a better fit, losing the gloves was just a result. I also don't think that people who use gloves have poorly fitting bikes.
