Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My new (used) Paul Taylor. Got it for the cost of the athena group. I am far from pushing it's limits but it is light (18lb ish) fast and comfortable. I am going to a ahead/threadless stem set up. The 11 speed cassette is awesome for the hills around here....like having a triple chain ring.

New toy as of this afternoon- 2012 Madone 4.7. This thing feels really nice. Did a 2 hour shake down after the fitting and set up, and couldn't help but smile when I was done.

Hell yeah! Travis is cool, and the employees there are really easy going. Well worth giving him the business (and kept the $$ in a local shop).

Yeah, I dig the shop... only problem is they always have bikes I want in stock and the right size... hate that... MUCH harder to not purchase bikes even when I don't have a place to store them.
