$50 Wolber ASPEN SUPER CHAMPION Rims 700c 36 Hole Tubular Sew Up Anodized Aspin

Came off a 1982 Mike Appel. Ran true. Glue residue. Original decals.
Interesting naming variant. Labeled ”Aspen”. These are factory Wolbers clearly same as the “Aspin” that is most commonly seen.

IIRC, the Wolber "Aspin" and "Aspen" rims were actually different models, I kinda remember this when I was looking tor Wolber tubular rims at one time for a build......but I could be wrong.....they could have just tweaked the name a bit for the US market....
Anyway, Wolbers are excellent rims and I wish they did not die out from the market as they provided a good alternative to the so common Mavics.
