Just ordered one and waiting to build it up. Any one else have it?

I'd love to see some pictures.

Nope; you're the first to post up you have ordered one here. If you get yours built fast, you might even be able to beat scrod's promo/ demo build.

We've sold quite a few of them and most orders - oddly enough - have been international. We just shipped a couple to Malaysia and one dude wrote me to say he's the envy of all his friends (for whatever reason, Malaysia LOVES Retrogression).

I've been slacking on getting mine built up. I may just swap stuff over from my 722 to take some pics and get them up on the site.

They gotta crank those video edits out without looking stale, right?

It's probably because you have good prices and don't overcharge for international shipping as I imagine some larger companies might do. Kudos!

Can't wait to see a build!

I was tempted to get one, but it was rite at the time that I purchased my cyclocross frame. As odd as it may seem, I still need to keep within my monthly bike budget.

The geometry looks really fun. I'm curious to know how it rides and looks.

maxway (who builds the excel) also built my reynolds 631 sputnik for jamis, and seems to do pretty clean work. their cast track ends are a nice touch...the sputnik has 'em, and the excel appears to also. the geometry is not for me, but it's still a great deal @ $200.

Maybe retrogression could do a LoPro or Alien V1 rendition next? I would get rid of my kilo for an alien v1. i know brake holes and bottle bosses are "useful" but if i wanted that i'd just buy another road bike. i hated the alien v1 when it came out but my tastes have matured.

otherwise it's money in the shoebox to go to frame building school so i can build something similar.
