Extra long recessed bolt front brake

When I tried to mount Shimano BR-R8000 front brake on my carbon fork, I realised the fork is too wide and the bolt doesn't reach the screw.
I see the recessed nut is 30mm long, I would need a 50mm long nut to reach the screw.
Do you know where I can find it?
Thank you so much

Most LBS that I know have a variety of the brake nuts in stock. Check with yours.

Not saying you're wrong with the measurement but 50mm is reeaally long for a brake nut. Are you sure your using a front brake and not a rear which may have a shorter mounting bolt?

I measured:
Fork width: 65mm
Brake max length with bolt on: 50mm
Nut length: 30mm
That's why I need at least a new bolt 45-50mm long.
Halfords doesn't have it

I had a 105 BR-5700 caliper with a pivot bolt too short to reach the recessed nut, even with a really long nut. The trouble was that it barely fit through the front side of the fork, not even that it didn’t protrude far enough aft. It was a front brake, but there are at least two different pivot bolt lengths.

Turns out you can buy a kit to replace the pivot bolt with a *longer one. It’s kind of expensive, about $15, but it also includes a new bearing and some other little parts. I ordered mine from Modern Bike, but other places stock it.

The kit is meant for Ultegra 6700 caliper, but the 105 is almost identical. I just had to modify the bolt a little and it works fine. With that and a pretty long nut, I got it installed in a really thick fork. I don’t know if it works for your 8000, but might be worth looking into.

*The original bolt in my caliper was ~39mm long. The new one is ~52mm. This is for the entire length, not just the part that protrudes.

Here is the kit I bought:

Long pivot bolt

It appears to still be in stock at Modern Bike. Might also be at Ben’s Cycle, Tree Fort Bikes, et al.

For the long recessed nut, I’ll second the recommendation to check with local bike shops.

Thank you for your suggestion but On Shimano BR-R8000 I can't replace the screw as far as I can see.
I can only use a longer nut :-(

Are you sure the hole in the back of the fork crown for the recessed nut isn't counterbored to allow the nut to slide in below flush? I had a Kestrel carbon fork with a wide fork crown and, while it came with a longer nut, the mounting hole was bored out so the nut could slide in further and reach the brake bolt.
