Dia Compe brake lever help/advice needed.
I've recently started putting together a new build. No idea who built the frame, but that doesn't matter because it fits me and it looks hot. The plan is to build it up with less common parts, ie Sunshine, Sugino, SR Royal, etc. I had decided on Dia Compe for the brakes and just missed out on a perfect brake set (levers and calipers) for the build while I was waiting for the frame to show up.
I've since got hold of some black, nutted g500 calipers and I'm unsure of what levers would be a good match for them. I'm trying to keep the the whole thing as late 70's as possible, but I'm not sure about where any of the levers I've come across fit in era wise and Velobase hasn't been much help.
Does anyone here have any recommendations?

I have a pair of 70's era Dia Compe levers that would do the trick. Marked 'regular' on the back of the lever, have the old style release fixture, and are ventilated/drilled. No hoods, but you may not want to use them. New Cane Creek/DC hoods would fit fine. I'm off to the local BikeMS 150 this morning but can take pics tonight if you're interested.

Also, because threads are boring with pics, here's the bike mocked up:
the bars, levers, and wheels are all spoken for on other builds.

Here they are. Had some thick gummy adhesive residue on them that I scraped off (nothing in my solvent arsenal would touch it, it was too dried up). Made a quick pass with Mother's, and they actually look pretty darn good. Cool old-timey release lever, and I think the scrape on one lever could easily be sanded and polished out. I'll throw in a pair of beehives for the cables.
Let me know if you're interested, e-mail addy is rccardr@cox.net. I'm a pretty cheap date.

Thanks for the pictures! I have a pair similar to those already but I'm looking for something a little different.
Thanks for the offer though
