Wheel softporn - my new Ventos
Just had to share - got my old Shimano R500's replaced with Campy Ventos, a campy 13-23 9-speed cassette and campy chain - no idea what sort the components were except they were new campys.
I was also sold a pair of Conti GP3000 4 Seasons Grand Prix tyres for winter riding. Total weight of the wheels feels about the same as the Shimanos, but they're suppossed to be stronger - thats what I'm really looking for as my R500 back wheel kept going out of true once a week or so (but hey at least I've got the art of wheel truing almost down to perfection...)
Nevertheless I think these Ventos look pretty cool over the Shimanos and the ride home today was sweet, with the gear shifting very smooth on the new cassette.
ps - sorry about the messy room and un-porn like shots. The hardcore action is on the road

Yes, those are MTB pedals <hides in shame> 
Its taken a few months to convert over from my old Specialized Hardrock...and I'm still using Shimano MTB shoes... Still, they do the job and convenient for city commuting.
Next on my list of upgrades are the pedals

Oh, and the Ultegra front derailieur has to go too for a campy centaur one...although this one is very faithful.
to DRLski ---> I'm in the UK and I got them at my (very small) LBS - he ordered them from a bigger supplier and have no idea who they are.
The hubs are specific for the Ventos - aluminium ones. I'm not sure they sell these ones separately.

Glad to see a post on these wheels. Have about 250 miles on a new set of Vento wheels and could not be more pleased. Got them here

with Shimano hubs for an extra $5! I think this is just about the best under $300 wheel I have used. Solid and smooth ride. Looks great also. If you use Campy hubs look on scambay for some deals right now.

Go to 11speed.com I got my ventos from them for $206 shipped. No duties or any thing. I love them, plus they look blinging for an inexpensive wheel set.

About the only thing Shimano I see, is the Ultegra front der. Everything else looks like Centaur.
And yes, the Ventos are a great wheel for the money. Very durable, and lightweight. I use mine for commuting, and they are holding up fine after about 2000mi of commuting this year.

Nice wheels. I have a pair of Camy Eurus in the G3 configuration (rear wheel) and they are very aero (very quiet) and bulletproof. They never go out of true...ever...

The Ventos look smooth. Me thinks I've found what I'm going to get for the Flyte SRS3 I just bought. If I can sell my Ultegra OP's for about $150, then the Ventos will be a good buy so I can use a Veloce cassette instead of the expensive Conversion jobs. Add the sexy Ventos G3 style... and I'll finally move into a true modern looking build.

Making a kilometer blurry
I'm not big on boutique wheels, but this is a really impressive design for evening out the left/right spoke tensions. Very elegant.

I really like mine on the Veloce, light, easy to work on. Only quibble - rear rim's valve hole is very close to a spoke, easy to pinch pinkies when attaching/removing pump head.
