1956 Raleigh Sports step-through
EDIT: Sold locally.
Hi everyone,
For sale is my wife's 1956 Raleigh Sports. It includes the original Brooks B66L saddle in nice shape, original pedals, the nice early '50s Raleigh chrome and transfers, and original Canada market paint. I have the original rear wheel with a '56 minted SW hub included in the sale. The SW does work, but my wife preferred the shifting action of the AW hub, so I installed a '72 AW wheel with a 21T sprocket. The '72 AW shifts fine, though the cone races are a little worn in. I have an un-laced nice condition '56 year AW that will be included in the sale if you want to lace it into a wheel for period correctness or do not want to use the SW. I've added new cables within the original housings, fresh Kool Stop pads, new Kenda tires, and Rivendell cork grips. Including the really nice condition '56 unlaced AW in the sale, I am asking $220 + shipping if needed, though I would prefer not to ship. Hopefully, some discerning Canadians will see this post

Killer condition. Good for another 7 decades.
Why don't people understand this? Rhetorical of course.
