Not perfectly and not intentionally, but close enough.

The interesting thing about beheadings is that even though the head has been severed, there still is enough blood in the brain to keep the victim conscious for anther 3-5 seconds. Can;t imagine looking around with my head in a basket or rolling on the ground before lights-out.

I think the Headless Horseman wears a black kit that matches his ride. He get style points deducted however, for not wearing a helmet.

Do your clothes match the car you drive?
Do your clothes match the house you live in?
This is a silly thread.
Why would clothes need to match the bike?

My cycling attire does not match my bike. I wear wicking fabric t-shirts, or long sleeved wicking t-shirts, maybe with a windbreaker if cooler. The only cycling specific clothing I own is padded bike underwear, with which I wear either shorts or long legged track pants (guess that what they're called) over them. My pedals are flat with pins, so regular trail running style tennis shoes for my feet. So, guess I'm no fashionista when it comes to cycling attire!

I did that, if you read the stuff it says once your spine is severed at the base of the brain you feel nothing, you are conscious for up to 30 seconds but have no feeling of pain, like your head is floating in space.

I'd think the physical pain of a swift guillotine execution would be less than the mental pain of knowing that I was going to die and being led to that death.

This should go nicely with my all black bike and red panniers combination. And it’s from Rapha to boot.

I have been wondering about that. I'll have to get it home and see. I am somewhat bad at matching colors. When I used to wear suits and ties to work I took a female colleague with me to help me shop a couple of times.
I have the same jersey in red. Bought a second one when I saw Rapha had it on sale for only $55. (Regularly $80.) I wanted the wine color but decided to get lunch first. By the time I was ready to order it was sold out in my size.
Guess you can say I lunched, both literally and figuratively.

Don't you think you would be going through that same mental anguish regardless of how they were going to kill you? come on!

Well, I guess if the people who are executing you decide to play one last psychological game with you and put a mirror in front of your eyes from about 10 feet away so you can see it's just your head and nothing else, or they turn your head so you can see your body, you might have a very small point, but without help you can't look back. But again, the anguish of being led to a death by any type of execution is dramatic enough. Besides did you know that when they execute someone and they strap you on a gurney on your back that above you is a full length body mirror on the ceiling so you watch your go through the agony of the pain and death cycle? I'm sorry, but I would much rather be killed by the guillotine than any other method used for execution these days or days in the past. I know you agree with that, you're just trying to argue, but it's been fun.

This goes beyond absurdity -- the idea that someone must agree with your preference for a method of being executed.

I'm not bothered, people can wear what they want and ride what they want. I've got some jerseys that I wear on any of my bikes, but I've also got some I only wear on specific bikes.
I've only got one 753 bike, so I only wear this....
...with this....
I only wear this....
...and this.....
....on this....

....on this...
And today I've just bought this.....
....for this....
I don't know if they ever made any but 've been looking for a vintage Simoncini jersey for years without success, to go with this...
,,,but I make do with this....
...and this...
And I own this.....
...but don't own, and have never owned a 531 bike, so that's obviously going to have to be rectified at some point

Still a never ending work in progress
I do have some Team Panasonic gloves and cap and jacket too, and some blue Denti bibs and jacket, but that's about it so far....
...Oh I do have a winter Denti skinsuit too
And I'm on the look out for some big Phil Anderson style blue Oakley Eyeshades to wear with the Team Panasonic kit too.

I ride al fresco. A jock strap is just too much.
