It looks great Randy. The Falcon is painted too but I've been holding off on the decals cause of that possible postal strike.

Ed, what does your original head set look like? I have a spare for my Torpado. In fact, I can't decide which to use.
Or, this one, picked up from the same seller(will sell if I decide to not use it on my present build - will list it in the For Sale forum, if I do)...

Thank you, Sir. I just had an inspiration (Some days I'm even dumber than I look.) and realized that it is only the lower races that are trashed. I can put the original uppers on and I bet no one would notice.

Well, after owning the Torpado for a couple of years and after a two month decision process (keep the new blue paint or back to all chrome?), the Torpado is, pretty much, done and ready for a test ride, today with luck...

I usually am not really drawn to much stuff earlier than perhaps 1987 or 88 (I was a teenager then, the loud paint schemes of something like an Ironman speak to me )

Chrome salvageable?
Very nice find! How are you going to bring the chrome back to its former glory? Or is the bike for parts?

Hope someone buys it for Erotica. I already have too many bicycles and there are two more waiting to get the treatment, this LeJeune being first on the list for next year's restoration effort...
