Budget Road Shoes....With BOA....Possible?
Im looking for a new pair of shoes as my old ones have recently bit the dust. Im not looking for anything too extravagant but I would really like to have BOA incorporated as my old shoes had it and Im not sure I'd ever want to go without it. The fit is too good and easy to dial in. Im hoping to spend $100 or less, less is better obviously. I don't need carbon or anything crazy. I ride a few times a week for about 30-40 miles. Anyone have any recommendations? Also, I have relatively wide feet so narrower shoes don't work for me.
Thanks

I was in the hunt for some new shoes and unfortunately you won't find anything below $100 that has a BOA unless if it's on sale.
OTOH, the "cheap" shoes that have BOA are the new Pearl Izumis and Specialized Expert. I think Scott has a couple of pairs too.
I personally ended up with some Lake 237s with dual BOAs and it comes in Wide Fit. Not on your budget though.

We sell the Scott BOA road shoes @ $175.00, that's usually the new MSRP for most BOAs from what I've seen ($175-$200).

Carbon sole
BOA system
Have a wide(r) toe box
$115 shipped (currently 21% off)
I have them and I really like them.
Nashbar's return policy is great as well.

Someone suggested it already but I was going to suggest going over to Nashbar while they have the 21% off and free shipping. The Lakes with BOA look pretty good.

I just got the Lakes in white, and they look at lot better in person than online. If you get them, go for a full size smaller. I usually wear a 43, but they were way too big, 42 fit me a lot better. Yeah and the deal was too good to pass up, they were 124 shipped after taxes.
Oh and theyre wide, which is good for me.

Another vote for Lakes if you can find them in wide. I have some 236s that I got off chainlove for less than $100, so search for a sale. Google their size chart, its very detailed and worked for me.
