Some days you just don't feel like going out. It rarely disappoints. I was on singletrack that tested my and my bike's capabilities. I think I'll put that one on the back burner. The second one though, was excellent. A keeper!

See, for me that's not a terribly significant difference - it's me taking off a neck gaiter mid-ride. If it's cold enough to warrant a winter jacket at some point on the ride, but warms up to the point where unzipping it halfway doesn't cut it, then it's a pain in the ass temp swing.

I have a number of unmatched tires, and I have that old Fulcrum Racing 5 rear that had radial cracks in the rim, and an old 12-25 cassette for it, so now that the Bianchi is fixed, I can make up a trainer wheel for it, and use it instead of the Canyon. I decided I won't use any of my steel bikes on the trainer - only 2 of them even have 130mm spacing anyway!

I know that a lot of people are okay with using older road tires for their wheel-on trainers, but my experience using a dedicated trainer tire was so, so much better; noise, slippage, rubber dust - all were markedly better.

That said, I'm now even happier to no longer have a wheel-on trainer.

Maintenance Update: I changed the water in my water bottle. It's been a month or two since I last changed it.
Should I go for a ride? Or do whatever it is that rjones28 does?

I killed my red tire. I kept getting mystery flats, and on close inspection, the inner casing of the tire had become damaged. Likely from running the tire at too low of pressure. 110 psi it is now.

This Illini-Nitttany Lions OT is chewing into my Ducks viewing time.
They showed a quick clip of the Ducks, and their kooky outfits tho!
