Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Not sure if you guys are talking about my blue ones or the normal ones...but, I'm not sure if blue ones are still available. There were only 400 made, I have 374/400. I got them from Arts Cyclery but they don't seem to be coming up on their site anymore.
https://www.artscyclery.com/descpage-GREEBLE.html

They were $300, but I had a 15% off coupon. Still pricey, but I had to have them. A fool and his money.

Competitive Cyclist has the Silver and Black ones for $275 with 21% off with code GIRO21.

I am excited for these since my Mavics have holes in the carbon soles Love the Mavics, but ready for something new.

I came from Shimano R106's which were fine, but I couldn't help myself. Those will now become my bad weather shoes.

The only downside to the laces is at the end of hard ride when you just want to kick your shoes off and fall over...well, you can't, you still have to untie your shoe, where R106's I could have off in a matter of seconds.

I finally got to try them out tonight and they were fantastic. Way better than my old glasses. The thing I noticed the most was looking over my shoulder. I can now see whats behind me with just a slight turn of the head as opposed to turning half my body around to see what was coming.

Dinner, for the one who put the new clipless pedals and seat onto the new-to-me road bike. First time riding on those kind of pedals and I already had my mandatory idiot fall . I felt inducted into something.

Glad you like them.

My SO has been training for a marathon, so I got her a pair to show support for her.

Running is evil, but she'll also use them for cycling.

I put together a brand new set of Speedplay Zero ti pedals using speedplay's pedal rebuild kit, bearings, and aftermarket Wade spindles. Cost under $200 and could have been much cheaper.

None taken.

This woman is just a friend.

Honestly, the SO is better looking, and in much better shape.

I have an edge 500 literally just laying around that I've not been actively trying to sell but is available. PM me if you're interested in it.

Bikes: A friend of a friend gave me an old steel Japanese frame for free. I painted and put it together with a little help from my bicycle mechanic boyfriend. There are bits and pieces of several other bikes lying around our apartment.
