Could you elaborate? Looks mighty similar to the one in the pic in post 11; rounded center, with a small heart cast into the top.

Wow, what an unrefined fork for such a prestigious brand.
I usually notice webbing on BBs because Colnago did that w later models also
The fact is, I don’t recall seeing the webbing which means it didn’t stick out to me. Probably didn’t have it.
Looking at the photos, I noticed that the cable stairs were removed from the top tube. I wonder if its from prying one off..
$275. Decent parts. Someone should grab it.

Right, the one posted by DD, where we see, that came with a different fork as well has braze-ons for the joint.
https://cicli-berlinetta.com/product...-blue-55-5-cm/
The Team Gewiss with unicrown I sent does not have those, and it is a Primato. Or?
https://www.vintageveloberlin.de/sho...ewiss_SHOP.php
I would laugh my A55 off it it would turn out to be a diamante titanio rattlecanned to conceal its identity (no it won't)

Since every subsequent photo of a Primato I've uncovered shows reinforcing, I'm assuming it was a feature of the model. Back to the drawing board.
Where is @MauriceMoss when you need him?

Beside its fun doing it for kicks, as no one runs there to grab it seemingly even if costs less than a supermarket crap, I must admit rattlecan or not I fainted on the price of Primato frames as I was looking for the pics...
When Robert sent in the second batch of pics I was laughing as recenly I was looking for Campy brake adjusters and got shocked how expensive they become (shops around me dare to ask 30 eur or so??), so made the maths 275 including some parts but above all one adjuster definitely.

Based on this ebay ad: it could be a Giro D'Italia as well... it has similar features, incl the brake bridge and the BB shell, built in Neuron (some in Brain) i/o EL.
The seat stay cap is really similar, but based on how many variants I've seen on the Primatos, it doesn't matter.
others:
https://ciclicorsaclassico.com/galle...-giro-ditalia/
https://fotos.rennrad-news.de/p/319881
One thing which might be a hint but a misleading as well or not important at all is the diamond shaped bottle cage braze-ons.
Robert's have diamond shaped ones.
Primatos either don't have on the seat tube or have round ones.
The Milka from Germany in the above link also has round ones.
And above all its an Italian brand, Sergio went working and did what he want based on if he had a quarrell with wife or too much chianti.

(I also said message me)
rear drop outs = short campy style w “De Rosa”engraved on them plus rear derailleur hanger.
fork had the same engravings, but easier seen on the other tine.
I did not see any rear brake cabling. No braze-ons, exterior or interior. And no rear brake.
As earlier stated. I don’t want this bike.
I left town. This co-op doesn’t box and ship. I will be back in 2 weeks if someone needs further help.

the fork does seem original to the bike.
Do we know what frame model this is? I never thought to place a magnet on it, but I did "ping" it a couple times to listen for rattles, and to my untrained ears, It sounded like steel.

In early 90's tubing supplier Columbus was fabricating and supplying complete unicrown forks that some frame manufactures used. They had columbus stamping on the drop-outs and on the fork steer tube (hidden when fork installed in frame) but no other markings. Though they may look like they came off a MTB, these unicrown forks were slightly lighter than similar lug/crown construction forks so appealed to steel frame weight weenies (when that was a thing). Along with then latest advancements of thin-wall higher strength steel tubesets (such as EL-OS, Genius, Spirit) which surpassed the older unhardened Cr-Mo metallurgy tubesets (like SL,SP, SLX, Max), the unicrown forks helped keep steel bikes a bit more weight competitive with alu/titanium/carbon frames. The Columbus supplied unicrown forks were TIG welded, probably was easier for existing lug-frame manufactures just to use the complete unicrown forks rather than intermixing TIG welding to their shop.
I received one of the Columbus unicrowns on a EL-OS tubeset bike that I bought new in 1992. First one I had cracked along the TIG welds within about 1 year use, warranty replacement fork that I received is still going strong today though the original chrome is in terrible shape. The one other complaint I had about those forms was that they had tight tire clearance would only take somewhere around a 25mm tire, when I tried using with some larger tubular tires I had problems with the tire contacting and rubbing the underside of the fork when it flexed while riding.

Here are a few detail shots of my pretty-much original ‘96 Primato for comparison - I see a few similarities. I don’t think they spec’d Record components over too many years - seems like Chorus was more common in other years especially the “Neo Primato”.
BB shell looks somewhat similar - mine does not have the “De Rosa” name recessed as the OP bike.
The brake bridges look similar - mine has flat diamond shaped reinforcements around the brazing.
The cut-out above the rear drop is bigger on mine, otherwise pretty similar.
Including the webbed BB shell just because it’s so cool.
Hard to compare the FD hangars.

This is interesting to me. Is it possible the “dent” is not really a dent but an imperfect fill job after grinding off the hood over the internal cable routing port when it was converted to a fixie? Looks to be in about the right spot.

Thank you so much for your well thought out responses. Plus, photo evidence.
I also wondered if that dent was caused by the removal of the cable guide but it is further forward by at least an inch.
You are correct that the rear drops are thicker. Odd to me.
could this be one of the first rounds of gravel designed bikes?
is this the era that people started switching over to carbon fiber for forks?
the forks are stamped DeRosa on the drops.
I read the explanation how Columbus provided the metal and help with these forks, but that TIG welding is so sloppy
granted, no one is supposed to have their head on the ground looking up at that angle.
it fits me perfectly, but I just don’t need another project, Especially one that needs dent removal, new paint and decals, plus brakes, etc.
