Schwinn Prelude

Ice Pink Schwinn Prelude. Somewhere around 1985'ish vintage with a 2023 7 speed drivetrain. This thing rides like a dream. Lightweight Columbus frame. 700c wheels. New everything. Awesome.

I love these frames, have one myself (and it’s the bike I’ve owned the longest). Not worth much though in terms of resale I’m afraid, especially “customized”.

50, 100 if the tires really are new, hard to tell with the pics. From what I can see there isn't new anything on there, there's nothing 2023, and someone just popped some basic bars on there. I've no doubt it rides nice, but it isn't anything special nor is it in pristine condition. Cool color though.

New bars, grips, stem, seat, pedals, tires, tubes, rim tape, chain, levers, shifters, derailleurs, cables, cable stops, cable covers, ball bearings &, grease. Over $400 invested. I don't know why I do this. Because I will probably wind up giving this bike to charity. But. it really does ride like a dream.

This is the kind of bike the OP normally appraises for others. I wish I could assure him he’ll recover his investment but I unfortunately cannot. Looks like a $100 +/-$25 bike to me.

I do also like the Ice cream Pink and these great riding bikes mainly because of the medium length wheel base a bit shorter than sports touring but longer than racing.

Don’t know about your area, but in the Portland-Salem-Vancouver metro area, that would be a $200 bike if fully serviced and ready to ride.
Cheers,
Van
