Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Focus Izalco?

Hey guys,

I'm in the market for a new bike. And I've currently test rode the '11 Madone 5.2, '10 Specialized Tarmac Expert SL. So far I'm leaning on the Tarmac, however I did see a Focus Izalco Expert at a LBS. I wanted to test ride it, but they didn't have any in my size. They're gonna contact me when they do have one, but in the mean time has anyone ridden a Focus Izalco or owns one? I'm just wondering how they ride compared to the Madone and Tarmac.

For reference sake my previous bike was a '09 Fuji SL1 Pro. Thanks in advance.

The Izalco is an all out race frame that is very stiff and aggressive. You are going to have to test ride one to decide if that is what you want.
