Stem 22.2 and 1-1/8 steerer “scrap”

Should be all set, thanks!

As the title says, looking for two things. I know they’re not directly related.
  1. Any scrap of 1-1/8” steerer (threadless), maybe a bit off topic for this crowd but in case anyone trimmed one recently. Need only an inch or so for a project idea. Chromed even better but anything works.
  2. A 22.2 cosmetically challenged aluminum stem or one with a broken clamp. Looking to cut the insert end for another project idea and don’t want to butcher a good one.

Happy to make a trade for similar low value items or greenbacks.

That fork isn’t bent it’s just the camera angle!!!

Yep 1” should be plenty. I guess if I had 2” I could screw my first try up and still have another shot, if that’s ok with you. Thanks!

Final configuration

Just teasing! It's an 89 and it's 18", not bigger. If it were bigger I wouldn't be riding it! Good luck with your search though!

This is a oddly specific, but I'm looking for a 1993 (I believe) Giant Allegre frame (or complete bike) in good cosmetic condition, in blue with the seatlug as pictured, size 56cm. Anyone know of one hanging out in the back of a local shop or in your garage rafters?

that can easily be fixed!! i did a bit worse on the '82 trek 614 i had years ago. had the bike up top on the roof rack and didn't realize the bank's after hours depository roof was too low. everyone's else's in the entire area its quite high enough. just not their's!! anyway, fixed the fork in about 30 min's

I can accomodate you one both if mrv's offering doesn't work out for you. i've got plenty of quills been sitting for a couple of decades that will never see use otherwise

I’m looking for a 54 cm/ 21” Schwinn Voyageur frameset. I have an 19” 1988/89 Schwinn Voyageur that I could trade as well if someone is interested in sizing down.

I'm looking for some hard-to-find black anodized Shimano deer head parts for an old '84 Stumpjumper SC rehab project:
  • SL-M700 shifters
  • BR-MC70 brake calipers and hopefully straddle cable hanger (just 1 wheels worth)

I somehow stumbled into having two NOS Campagnolo brake calipers from different eras. One pre-CPSC standard reach nutted front, and an 80's script-logo recessed rear (w/alum. pad holders). I'd love to find someone to do a trade to make one or two proper pairs. Anyone have a mate or two?

@jeirvine,
These were acquired about a year ago from a BF member who was downsizing his home. They came in as a matched pair and are relatively clean and some minor brake pad wear. Lemme know, Smiles, MH

FYI, I'll gladly straighten that fork if you are willing to cover the shipping to and from - provided it's not heat-treated tubing.
