Consistent exercise results

Me it almost 84, one month to go.
For all you 50-year-old cyclists, this is what you can look like after 34 years of cycling and other exercise, and you turn 84 years old.
Those are cycling sandals, which I always use.
Keep up the good work!

Does that mean I'll be riding a yellow Lemond and wearing sandals 11 years from now?

Congrats. I will add that not everyone is going to be that lean. As a former college football player I can tell you that my body type is different.

Sarcopenia did a real number on me. I used to have muscles you can see! I lift weights and do resistance bands, etc., But still looks skinny.

That may be true but I'm 77 now and I don't see any signs of it yet. On a good day I'm 5' 9" and 189 lbs.

My dad turns 79 this year, and he is certainly not out riding like that! Hope I am when the time comes.

Light is good! Sarcoidosis? What were the symptoms? Our oldest RAMROD rider this year was 85, came in a lot earlier than I would have expected. He looked a lot like you. Most folks don't realize how fast the decrepitude tries to increase with age.

Cycling sandals are Shimano with cleats on the bottom. They have steel in the sole. You can use it just like regular bicycle shoes and with the proper socks they are quite warm in the winter. I have a very wide foot, which is one of the reasons I wear them as they fit me well. Nąshbar has them also.
