Shift Lever reach question?

Hi I have a question about adjusting the reach on my shimano 105 levers. I believe they are the 5700 model but not exactly sure where you would find that. Anyways, for the 5700 series I know that there is a thicker shim that can be placed in to shorten the reach but is that the only adjustment that can be made? I know some of the newer models have an adjustment screw to adjust the reach and just wanted to verify that there is not such an adjustment screw on mine? Thanks in Advance

From what I can find its only the shims for those levers. What I wanted to add is that the curves designed into the handlebars make a GREAT difference to how far you have to reach to the levers. Once upon a time all road handlebars just had a nice curve under the levers and this in fact reduced the reach to the levers. Then we had the so called "ergo" bars which had a flat section under the levers. Many like these but it increases the reach to the levers. There are newer designs now with multiple curves and bumps in them.

Anyway your problem may be with the bars just as much as with the levers. Something more to consider.
