Made disc brakcet on frame and fork Comanche
First i make example on PVC. Next made steel blank. After i cut bracket with help angle grinder and drill make from bracket. Next welding and painting.

Fork. Leg fork i warm on oven and slightly bent in a vise, because rotor rub on her. Next again cutting and bracket is ready

My only real concern is the chance of the fork's bending/twisting from the leverage and force that a hub brake puts into it. We hear stories about this when hub brakes are added to a fork not initially designed for them.

Perhaps that would be a reason to use a straight tube fork (which should be common in MTB sizes).
Anyway, I like the drill and grind method. Very effective.

Lots of ways to skin a cat. I don't think laser cutters that can handle that thick of stock are that common here either. Plasma is a bit more common. A vertical mill could also do the work, but I've found doing anything other than straight lines is a bit of a pain. CNC? Still expensive.
