Need help identifying

My wife has been given a Giant Sedona bike from a friend of hers and I'm trying to identify the year. Could someone please help? I can't find any info regarding this and it's driving me nuts. Frame number is C92FQ249.

Can you post a picture of the bike? Drive side and close up of top tube and down tube?

To post a pic, is it as simple as copy and paste? Some websites (I'm on my phone by the way) have something special needed to post pics.

You can usually upload an attachment without too much trouble. Use the full site, not the mobile to do that.

I tried google, Giant s/n looks like a tough nut to crack - though the initial letter seems to represent the manufacturing year - just can't find a scalar for it.

Sometimes you can narrow it down by starting with the color scheme and then comparing the components which change over time. Bikepedia lists the Sedona as being built from 1995 to 2015. You can see all of the versions here 2012 Giant Sedona - BikePedia. Look at the year list on the right and see which ones match the color. An even quicker way is to look at the inner side of the crank arms. Most major manufacturers stamp a date code into the metal - month and year it was made. It's a good place to start out. You may also find date codes on the hubs but that is less frequent than crank arms.

If the pictures are on an online hosting site simply copy the picture link and paste between [img] [/img] with no spaces.
If its on your computer click "Reply" and then scroll down to where you see "Manage Attachments". Then follow the instructions to upload your picture.
