Dobre rano, Yadder!
My first bicycle was given to me by my father in 1960. It was made in Czechoslovakia. I don't know how it came to be imported into the U.S. It was my main transportation for several years and helped me earn money delivering newspapers. I don't remember the name of the bike, but it was a red single-speed with narrow tires. Unfortunately, it didn't survive the hard life I gave it.
My first language (spoken at home before I entered school) was Slovak, although I'm not Slovak - my family's history is far too complicated to discuss here. Your English is now much better than my Slovak.
Good luck with your bike shop!

Yadder- Have you communicated with Doug Fattic? He runs a bike building effort out of Kiev for Seven Day Adventist missionaries. He visits the area once or twice a year as his schedule, finances and politics allows. He hangs out on the frame forum often. Andy.

Hi Yadder, I am just the other side of the border in Poland.
My question is Ukraine bikes - I only see the standard diamond framed bikes here, so did they make bikes with other types of frames?
