Maybe those wolves don't know to lay off us Americans. Quite frankly, that guy kept a really level head and got lucky to. Had that RV not come up there's no telling what the outcome might have been, but it wouldn't have been good.

Sounds like some strange behavior for a wolf. I've spent many years in the wilds and far into the backwoods and have seen wolves at a distance and seen their signs but have never been approached by one. Generally they avoid humans but in this case, maybe the wolf was sick or hungry from being sick. Strange also that it was alone. I've not known wolves to hunt alone either.

I agree, that is strange behaviour.

The thought of trying to outride a wolf on a loaded touring bike gives me the chills!
