Cube bikes

Going to ask something that is a bit embarrassing here.

I have been away from cycling for 16 years now and am completely out of touch.

Has anyone got opinions on a bike brand called Cube bikes please? Not familiar with them at all I'm afraid. Maybe that says it all but thought I would check.

TIA

Cube is based in Germany I think. About the same quality and style as the other guys. Giant, Spez, One thing they have done different is put a chain guard on derailler tour bikes. All these brands actually have a store in Chengdu. Cube has poor sales outside Europe I believe, they seem pricey. TREK bikes sell plenty, but I saw none I would buy here. I love IGH bikes myself and a SA drum brake in the front.

Cube is headquartered in Germany but like almost all other bike makers, they probably build their one or two top end models in Germany and farm out the frameset to Taiwan or China. I don't know that they ship outside of Europe or not but they are probably on the same level as any other quality, brand name bike.

Thanks for the replies.

Considering a CUBE for an endurance bike and this has put my mind at rest a bit.

Much appreciated.
