That is a sub 20lb frame and should be the focal point of the bike. And besides it has two front wheels.

The balls on this guy... The frame even looks crumpled near the head tube from a crash.

[h=2]Diamond back frame, upgraded hardware - $600 (Coon Rapids, MN)[/h]Diamond back frame, upgraded hardware

Freakin awesome bike. Never use it anymore since I no longer live in the city. I gave this baby a makeover last year, a 400 dollar make over.. New wheels, new brakes, new crank, new chain, new seat. This bike can move. Handle bar tape is worn, easy fix. Will throw in the U lock for 30 bucks more. Text/email for details.

That is, quite possibly, the best-looking dork disk ever. And there's something to be said for the symmetry of the dork disk being the same size as the chainring (although that crankset is hideous)

Oh... watch the language

So, what year does April 20 fall on a Tuesday? Maybe he means Tuesday, April 20, 2021. Just to give the potential buyers time to get to the bank.

I wonder if the parking lot will be vacant on Tuesday, and we'll see the bike reposted on Craigslist Wednesday for $50.

The thing about Craigslist. Get the price right, and one gets 100 calls... Get it wrong, and it gets reposted month after month after month. Perhaps a few tire kickers just to keep things interesting.

The bike may get snapped up in minute at $50, but not sell at $100.

I didn't know chainring spiders existed without crank arms, but here one is, making the captain of this Bike-E recumbent tandem one hard-working fellow. I don't know if there was some reason he just couldn't switch the crankset to the front and delete the timing chain.

It would mean swapping the drive from left to right, and perhaps adding an idler pulley, and moving the front derailleur. By chopping the crank, it becomes easily reversible.

Is that aluminum plate setup to use as a foot peg for the rear passenger?

I bet the passengers were pretty young kids.

Anyway, if the aluminum plate keeps the feet away from the cranks, I'd just take the pedals off and make the change very easy.

Are those cowboy boots in the middle?

What is the reason for the high seat and double crank for the girl in the rear? Is it all about handlebar height? Or, perhaps just showing manufacturing capabilities?

Or just symmetry for the photo shoot?

She's the smallest, and is using a kidback, but she's about to outgrow it.

I wonder how old the photo is.

How about this one. It might be a good deal.

Slightly used bicycle - $65 (Eugene Santa Clara)
Hi I have a bicycle that I only used a couple times and decided that I am not cut out for this. I dont know what brand or something it is, all I know is it has 7 gears, I think, and that I paid $125 for it brand new and I only used it a max of 10 times. $65 or best offer. Dont be shy, all offers welcome. call Mon. through Fri. 3 pm. to 11pm, or weekends any time.
I would post a photo of it, but there isn't one.

Apparently reading what is printed on the tubes is too complex.

That's actually a really nice looking Sekine I usually see those posted in the 100-150 Canadian Dollar range here in Winnipeg (About a three hour drive from where Canadian Sekines were made.)
That Dork Disc is a common sight around here!

Browsing E-Bay for a Cell Phone...
Yes, of course it is Bike Related. I was wanting to try "Riding with GPS", and realized I needed a phone upgrade.

I found several ads similar to this:
This is a auction no phone for sale you would be helping me get this phone thanks for bidding I really appreciate it
And, no, the donations weren't to buy a $20 prepaid phone... but rather the most expensive that is out there (assuming that is where the money is going, and not just selecting those who can afford a $500+ Cell phone).

It is in good shape. I judged it harshly by its enormous shift levers, stamped dropouts, sheet metal RD, and chrome rims. I didn't know about the Canadian connection, or that they were powdercoated. That's interesting.

Interesting concept. As for the bicycle foundation, I've seen double top-tubes, but I've never seen a double down-tube. And the extra down-tube seems to not be just an addition, b/c the top tube connects to the the down-tube rather than to the headtube as usual.

Those seem to be a rendition of the "box for sale" traps for the unwary who don't actually read the description/content of the auction listing. I'm not sure how ebay handles it when it item is properly described yet an unwary buyer mistakenly thinks they're bidding on the actual phone itself. I mean if the description is accurate and the buyer gets what was described, does ebay side with the buyer?

Lady's bike with a top tube added methinks. I would think the exhaust from the engine would be emitted right into your face if one were to ride this thing. I think the whole thing is a spoof. I have seen some crazy bikes on local Craig's list that had to be spoofs like the snow plow bike and the DUI bike.

Some kind of steampunk project? Cute. I'm surprised the seller is asking $175, rather than $1000. The parts in the project may be worth that much without counting labor.

It looks like it may actually run.

As far as the exhaust, there is a black pipe that runs down towards the front hub, visible on the left side of the bike. So, it may warm the legs, but no exhaust in the face.

Does it have a kickstand?

Is the display stand included?
