Adidas does cycling clothes and they always have sales. I usually stock up end of year and buy several bibs, jerseys and road/gravel shoes. I like their stuff because it's not that common, fit is actually really good, they drop prices to clear inventory (cycling is just a side gig for them) and you get street cred amongst the fixed/urban cyclists crowd...I've actually have had people come up to me to compliment me in my kit! 
Also I only air dry my bike kit after a wash. I also use nylon sticker patches to fix any small tears and rotate my shoes to minimize wear. I tend to go a size smaller to have a good fit. I've also swapped over to 3D printed bike saddles and that really helps reduce friction wear on my bibs.

The durability argument is a good one. Esp with bibs. Jerseys can last basically forever IME. I'm still at a point where I'm getting team issued stuff each season, but that may or may not last forever. Hopefully I have another decade or two of Masters racing in me. Until then, I'll ride with what I'm provided, and it ain't boutique by any means.
In comparison, a few of my 'climbers jerseys' for almost 1/3 of that price are still intact after 3 years. (I hand wash my stuff to prolong longetivity and I do >1000km/month)

I dated a Swedish au pair during the summer of ‘88. I went off to law school at the University of Pittsburgh and she went home. That fall, I sent her a Pitt t-shirt for her birthday having no idea it means prick as that word is often used in English.

Same here and I find them good value in the sales.
Another brand worth looking at is 7-mesh. I have one of their "cheaper" jerseys and their regular bib shorts and both are Assos level quality. Very understated branding too without any fonts, so the OP should approve!
Le Col stuff is not bad either, but I find their bib short pads a bit too thick and spongy for my liking. It's a shame because otherwise the fit is perfect for me and they wear really well. Their jerseys are good too and actually pretty cheap when on sale plus the Strava £50 discount.

I see so many ppl riding in Pas Normal Studios jerseys and bib shorts, however they look completely tasteless.... just big white letters (they could use comic sans font as well....) on the back, no style at all.
Rapha started following the trend, before there was smaller 'rapha' logotype in a nice looking font, now 'rapha' logotype is bigger and in a few places and with tasteless font...
Is it just to show off that you paid stupid money (looking at PAS) for your outfit ?
(I'd understand if there is 2x difference in performance etc. but there is non at the end, comparing to few other a bit more expensive brands (like Castelli or Sportful).

FYI, people can say what they want, but more expensive clothes = better.
My PNS bibs remain comfy even after 7+ hours of riding. Same for my PNS jerseys.

Looks like a Helvetica knockoff. Helvetica is about the most generic understated font in existence, which seems to go with their muted colors. Understood someone might like brighter colors and flashier fonts, but offended? It's just the $$$$, right?

I bought summer jersey from q365 for 200eur, which was most expensive purchase, and it really worked in a heat. however jersey 'survived' one season (3-4 months), next summer it was already stretched, a bit yellowish and didn't protect from the sun so much.

Here's this year's team kit. I will donate it at the end of the season. Pactimo seems to change their stitching patterns and fit slightly each year, which is a bit annoying TBH. Not sure if that is affecting other bulk orders.
For the secondary kit items, I love Defeet stuff! Esp the wool socks. But also: warmers, gloves etc.

To put some context to the thread, how many jerseys, bibs/shorts and cycling socks does average Joe/Jill have in their rotation? I'm not talking about clothes(jerseys) they keep for whatever reason. I'm talking strictly kit in active rotation. Given how often a rider rides per week, how much kit to support that?
