How to research this early 90s Specialized S Works steel

picked up another old Specialized frame recently. love the tubes and geometry on this one. plus, it sings when you tap it. i'm new to bike research and was wondering how i might begin to dig up details on this? I know that it's an early 90s S Works and I've seen several threads about other folks who have had similar bikes – so I know the basics. Would love to be able to pin a year to it and maybe know what it's made from. Serial number is 93A1286. any pointers?

ha! i'm looking at the serial number now and realizing the "93" at the beginning is almost definitely the year. doh.

yup thats a 93 Sworks Steel, a great frame i have one also that was turned into a city type bike with long (to long) of a threadless steerer. I have yet to find a good catalog for this bike as the Sworks catalog on retrobike is bad.

heres the crazy Sworks Steel that i have. (its been torn apart and will get rebuilt to original or close to original specs!)
