Good ol' Nashbar item tracking labels. Every time you read one it's a trip down memory lane, and a reminder of how long you've been hoarding that very important item.

I use the LY97 7spd version of this freewheel and it shifts really well with my DA7400 7spd index shifters and RD. Based on this, I would assume the same on an 8spd STI setup.

Can you unscrew the 12t and turn it into a workable 126 OLD 7-speed? If so I am really interested. Or better yet, unscrew both 12 and 13 and put the 12 back on? 12,14-whatever make really good cluster for old men in the Portland hills. All the gears I need plus a bike steadying big one for the descents.

So, if those can be done, dibbs.

I tried to unscrew the 12 and 13 but couldn't. I also examined the connection between the 12 and 13 with a magnifying glass, and they appear to be one solid piece of metal.

The 12 screws into the 13. I believe even with the 12 removed, you would still need 130mm of rear spacing. I have 7-speed Sachs available.
