Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Volcano + PBK = Argh!

I've been waiting for a delivery from PBK since 14th April, the whole volcano and grounded flights made me expect a delay. But, this is the longest wait for a delivery I've ever experienced from them.

Anyone else experience anything similar?

The volcano ate the tyres that I ordered on April 19. Good thing I won't be needing them anytime soon.

Yah, I ordered from Assos bibs from Ribble that shipped on the 19th that haven't come. On the other hand, I ordered something from Performance at 1pm on Friday and it was here on Saturday. Willing to wait for the low prices Ribble had though.

if you just ordered it might be alright. it is the old shipments on flights that were cancelled that they have to try and find space for on flights now that are delayed.

My Garmin order from the 16th (shipped the 19th) still isn't here. I'm beginning to think the boat sank.

Things ordered now should be fine. If I had ordered a few days *later* I'm sure I would have my order by now, which is amusing.

If you got yours Monday in TN, maybe the USPS will get to WA today or tomorrow.

I actually haven't opened the package yet. I guess I should to make sure they're not melted.

I ordered a pair of Time I-Clic titan pedals on the 14th. I have yet to receive them. I must admit that I'm beginning to get somewhat concerned.
