Rubena Mitas Flash Hook Stop Thorn tires
Hello. im hoping here to find some kind of information for these tires. They are produced in Europe - czech republic
i have been searching whole internet and best result i got is from hungarian site with few old / mixed reviews , but not all were for the tire with Stop Thorn 3.5mm
If anybody had them please share experience, how good are they against Thorns and how much was durability... only minus for sure i know is that they are bit heavy tires , 1.4 622-37 / 700x35c is 770 grams+

Mitas Hook Stop Thorn
Note: Stop Thorn version. Other version are low quality tire as whole.
Overall they are cheaper than Schwalbe/Continental... Cant post links or images due to being new on this forum.
My local bicycle shop have them but he cant say much about them... I might be able to squeeze good deal on them if i show some kind of knowledge...I believe they wear faster than Schwalbe at least Antipunchture version which is like Level 3 schwalbe. Stop Thorn should be Marathon quality protection on a budget and should last at least some 2000-3000km

I have never heard of that brand. They do have a website you might try it!
I am sure they are much cheaper than Schwalbe or Continental, but those two are well known names that make excellent tires. Mitas probably relatively unknown outside of Europe.

Their site kinda basic... no good information about tire or its characteristic like schwalbe showing 3 starts out of 6 on rolling resistance for example... . The brand is from like 1930.. so they are not new by any means and kinda ok casual quality for the low price overall. just nothing super good or expensive. I digged old prices and in 2015 their top model was with cost of just under 15 euro. And there is review on it with claim 15 000-30 000 km which i dont trust much. TIre is heavy tho. 1100 grams with 5mm rubber protection.

Have you tried a belted tire? Some brands offer a Multi Layer designed tire & might be easier to find locally or online. IME, thicker rubber typically does not solve puncture prone experiences. The thicker rubber tends to retain the offending debris & with every rotation, the particle of debris is hammered further in until it no longer protrudes.
look at the Vittoria Terreno Mix G2.0 TNT or consider a Vittoria Terreno Dry TNT G2.0
