A very hot, humid and windy 35 mile ride today. Crosswinds for pretty much the entire ride.

Got in 26.2 miles this afternoon, temps are to fall by 20°F between dawn and noon time tomorrow. Shorts and a short sleeve jersey today, it will be back to winter time kit tomorrow.

Had a very good work out if nothing else. 45 miles with wind gusts at 25 mph. Good thing the temps were in the upper 70's or it would have been pretty chilly with those winds. Stopped and talked to some of the people putting up the tents at the park for tomorrow's Florida Double Ironman Race. They'll be there all weekend getting done sometime late Sunday morning.

Snow is melting in Central Missouri. Sunny day but still 45 degrees and gusty cold winds. Great 45-minute ride.

OldNSlow - You are certifiably Nutz! Brrrrr! And YES to spring.

The weather has started to warm up here (Northern Nevada). Low 60's and sunny. Did a nice 17mi ride on the trike (the more I ride this beast, the more I like it) along the Truckee River Bike Path (my usual)

Rode in the winds, not going to lose another day to weather this week, if I can help it. 26.1 miles, North winds 15-20mph, sunny and dry. I'll take it.

Rev, welcome, even if its 12 years after your join date, better watch out, 11 posts in 12 years is pretty heavy BF time. Stick around the place, great to see you posting here.

Thanks Bill. Forgot all about BikeForums.net, but nice to rediscover it. Thanks for your service to our country. Phil. 4:13 is a great promise. My life verse is Phil. 2:13 about God being at work in me. I guess that makes us neighbors; maybe brothers.

First time outdoors since Jan. 23, I had a couple of weeks off with a minor knee issue then the weather went to crap leaving me on the trainer here lately.

44.2 mi. @17.1, four passes at a bridge being replaced on the trail causes a walking detour that kills avg. speed.

Got out for a twelve mile ride this afternoon. Sunny, 40F and no ice or snow on the roads. As I entered the miles into my spreadsheet, I realized just how much our recent weather has sucked - today was my first ride since February 8.

32 great miles yesterday and 41 miles today. Rode with one of my buddies that hasn't ridden in a while so I let him set the pace. Ride was longer and much slower than I expected but very enjoyable, none-the-less.

25.2 miles this afternoon, what a beautiful day, after all of the wind, rain and cold we had earlier in the week. Tomorrow looks good, too, but there are several systems coming across from Mexico with rain forecast most of the week. That means that timing will be crucial for my mileage, unless I am going soft.

Rev, great to see you posting, always glad to see someone from the older period of the site here. We are all brothers, and sisters, as well, cyclist all and in other ways, too.

Yay! After an entire month of being snowbound, bicycle-wise, today was the first balmy sunny snow-melting day since February started! So I finally got to do some bicycling! Road salt be darned! About 15 miles, to the Clark Bridge and back. It was relatively warm out, except next to the Missississippi (ugh) River, which was basically a sheet of white from one end to the other.

I finally got out after my last ride back in mid-December. Took this around the neighborhood, my first ride on it since building it up. '86 Gazelle.

25 miles on the gravel bike. Only rode about .2 of a mile on actual gravel, but the bike still came back covered in road filth, salt, sand, slush etc. Really glad I have this new bike as an alternative to the roadie for this time of year. Warmish, and amaaaaazingly bright outside with all the snow cover. Still some ice and slush on the backroads. Legs and butt took a real beating, but it was wonderful to get back out on the road again.

A beautiful day for a nicely paced 45 mile ride with a group of riding buddies. Nice temps, plenty of sunshine and not much wind. If we had some beer it would have been perfect.

The usual 25+ miles, probably the best weather for riding I could wish for out this afternoon. Sunny, low 70's, little wind or humidity, made for a nice time.

50.1 NorCal miles, avg. temp. 65*, no Garmin/Strava data because my Garmin had a hissy-fit and erased the first 30+ miles, then didn't record the 2nd half except for 9 miles. I hate it right now. But the ride? So satisfying.
