Plastic Brake Endcaps
Anybody have any experience (good/bad) using black plastic endcaps for 5mm brake cable sets where they enter CF frames? Strong enough to be used against the internal cable stops?

Actually, it depends on the details. IF, and only if, the frame stop through hole is small enough that only the inner wire can pass, ie. 2mm or so, and you are not using index (long sprial) housing, then the ferrule is mainly trim and plastic would be OK.

Yes. The cable casing stops inside the CF frame are only large enough for the cable to pass so I suppose the black plastic brake cable end caps will only serve as reinforcement.
