Removing/installing 11s chains
My bike has a Campagnolo 11 speed chain. There is no master link, just the pin that gets driven in, broken off, and then peened in place upon install. If I have reason to remove the chain, is it best to push this master pin out and install a new one in the same place on reinstall, or to move a different pin each time?

NEVER push the joining pin out and try to replace it. Always pick a different spot on the chain and do it there. Or, preferably use a quick link.

This is always my preference. I'll see if I can get my hands on one.

The joining pin seems to be a tiny bit wider at the ends, to hold the chain side plates after removing an origonal pin - if you remove a joining pin and replace with another joining pin, the side plates seem to fail prematurely in my experience.
