Need help with a conversion

I have a 3XL framed DirtySixer 36” bike I would like to convert to a pedal-assisted e-bike…

So, looking for someone experienced in converting and suggestions on kit’s available. I live in Western Maryland and would be willing to meet someone within an hour or so drive to come up with a plan, if I have to…

A 36" bike won't function well with a hub system because the large wheel will be difficult to accelerate, so a mid-drive is the most viable option IMO. I've had excellent luck with Bafang BBS02's, but the BBSHD is another possibility. Installation is fairly straight forward if you're DIY-oriented. You can look at Johnny Nerd Out's site (and he's available for consults). There is a lot of info available here from individuals with mid-experience if and when you decide how you want to proceed.
